Bring some pumpkins and your carving tools and we will have a fun pumpkin carving night! We will have hot apple cider and popcorn provided, please bring more snacks to share if you'd like, or just show up to hang out and get your carving on. We will have print outs for carving but nothing fancy, so bring all your goods! We will be playing a family friendly "scary" Halloween movie (probably Casper the Friendly Ghost or Hotel Transylvania). Whoever carves the best pumpkin will win a prize!! Join us at the main playground for our annual Easter Egg Hunt.  Make sure you are on time, because this event is fast.  Please be sure to bring an Easter basket or container to hold your loot. This is a free event, but please RSVP with the ages of your child(ren) as a way for us to track who is coming and make sure we have the proper number of eggs per age group. In case of snow or inclement weather, come to the clubhouse between 2 and 3 p.m. to pick-up a bag of eggs.  

Join us for our annual end of summer pool party.  The party will start at 4 p.m. and the pizza will arrive at 5 p.m. The Co-Op will provide pizza and kids drinks.  Last name A-M bring a side, last name N-Z bring a dessert. No charge, but please "buy" a free ticket so we can order enough pizza. *IMPORTANT NOTE:  There are no lifeguards at the pool this year.  Please keep a close eye on your children!

Join us for a fiesta!  Get a babysitter and come join us for a fun evening! Appetizers will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. at Debbie Waterman's house, 8731 Garrison Court. The main course will be hosted by Jennefer Walsh, 9871 W 86th Pl. Desserts will be hosted by Cara Grimsley, 9972 W 86th Ave. $15 per person.  Bring your own booze.  Please purchase your tickets by June 2 so our hostesses have enough time to prepare. See you there!

A Special Note from Mandy:   We will be putting together "Blessing Bags" as a group! Blessing Bags are gallon Ziploc bags filled with items that will benefit a person who is down on their luck and dealing with homelessness.  They will be filled with items like water, snacks (individually wrapped), travel size toiletries, socks, and other items that people living on the street might find helpful.  You then keep these bags in your car and you can hand one out when you encounter a homeless person.  Our kids have loved putting these together as well as handing them out, so, please bring kids of ALL ages to help with this service project! Please RSVP so I know approximately how much to purchase.    I am thinking we will do 10 bags per family to take with you, so I need the RSVP and then can begin purchasing this week.  I have applied and been granted $250 to help with funding but depending on numbers, may need additional donations, so the sooner you RSVP the better for my planning purposes!  I have planned for an hour, but it may not take that long.  There will be tables and "stations" set up so you will basically walk through and follow the instructions to fill up your bags! Join us for our fall social, a fun evening of pizza and painting rocks!  The Kindness Rocks project is a global movement to decorate and hide rocks with inspirational messages.  Many Co-Op families created rocks last year, and our neighbors in The Pond loved finding them. Come help us paint a new round of rocks!  Pizza and juice boxes and painting supplies will be provided.  BYOB.
